1. I have always thought of balance as being symmetrical or asymmetrical. I learned that an impression of balance can also be radial.
2. Color value scales were a review for me. I had to do a value project in undergrad. I had to paint squares showing a range of values for each color.
3. I will use the information about color to design learning spaces in my classroom. I have a safe place in which I would like to use cool, calming colors and neutrals. I will also use contrast and emphasis as we create anchor charts for the classroom.
