DC Digital Literacy: Organization

Kim Sears
I am a big fan of Pinterest.  I use it both personally and professionally.  I use it to connect with co-workers and also to get ideas for a variety of purposes.

I had been using Pinterest for my personal use but after taking a professional course I started a Pinterest account for our teachers. We all add to the boards and use it as a way to collaborate. It's been a great tool for our staff.

I think this is a great resource to use to collaborate and get ideas with other teachers especially when you are in need of visual aids.

I have never found Pinterest all that useful and overwhelming.  But will give it another try.

Love to use Pinterest!  I did use this with my Foods 3 class this year.  They set up their own accounts and we used it for their recipe file project.  It worked great!
