DC Digital Literacy: Share Resource-Christianna Stiles

Christianna Stiles
The resource that I think I will share with students this year are the tools in Google Drive.  We can share documents.  I can organize class material in folders for easy access. Students can take tests.   I like Google + to connect with others in my profession, to get ideas.   It seems to me that Google Docs has a tool that can enhance learning in any setting.

I need to add more to my response
In the organization section, I liked Feedly.  I would share articles on fitness with my students

Critical Thinking:  I know students like Kahoot or playing games.  If I could design a team exercise completion for a competition in class--I think the students would enjoy that.  Station 1:  Everyone needs to complete 25 jumping jacks.  Station 2: complete 20 squat jumps  First team finished wins, but must check off exercise on Kahoot (not certain if it can be done, but I'm going to explore.

Creativity:  Have students design an information graph using Easel.ly comparing 2 activities or listing exercise fads from 1950-2016.

Collaboration:  Google Video/Conversation-share items with students that are exercise related.
