DC Digital Literacy: Share Resource

I am going to explore the Scratch website with my Computer Literacy students.  I haven't done any coding with them, so I think the students will enjoy it.  They will learn computer skills that haven't used before.

I think Scratch is a great site for computer coding.  It gives the chance for students to create games and learn how to program.

I taught in a school that had a Scratch after school program.  Students loved it.  It was a great way for them to express themselves while also thinking critically about technology.

Our school is new to coding, but the kids really enjoy it!  Scratch is one of the websites the teachers have found most helpful and easy to use!

I really like Scratch.  I have used it in the Makerspace setting by utilizing Scratch in conjunction with the MakeyMakey.
