DC Digital Literacy-Share Resource

Angela Hunter
I found a presentation tool called prezi. Students can make a presentation that is an alternative to a linear powerpoint presentation. It's presentations are lively; zooming in and out across a large template in a designated path instead of on slides. Video and images can be embedded as well. Students can use Prezi as an alternative to powerpoint or to live presentations.

My only challenge with Prezi is the connectivity of working/fast Internet. I have had students create projects on Prezi and then go to present them at contest to not have the Internet in the hotel working or to slow. There is a "download" feature but the files lose a bit of their "animation" when playing from the machine rather than the web. :)
