DC Digital Literacy: Share Resource

Dale Tokheim
Twitter - I have twitter personally and I have thought about using it in class.  For example, I had the kids come up with their top 5 amendments and why.  I could put this question on twitter and have others put up a list and we could get reactions from outside our walls

Google drive- for collaboration it just works very easily for me because we have chrome books in our school.

Wideo-  I think I could have kids create a video for  some of our projects in American Issues or Government instead of doing a presentation in class.

Kahoot - I think it could be a fun way to do some fun review and critical thinking

Youtube organize n store videos -  I think this would be a great way to get myself organized.  I use a lot of video clips.  I could probably get a nice collection and then share them with the students so they could even watch some of them on their own.

You might want to consider using Skype, Google Hangout, or Zoom to connect with historians in the field.  I know of a few teachers who have been able to set up video conferences with historians so their students could interact with them.

Keep up the good work.
