DC Digital Literacy

I would like to use YouTube as more of a resource.  I feel like video clips capture kids attention.  They can also search on their own to find a video that will benefit them in research or a project that they might be able incorporate.  I've used YouTube in my adult life a ton.  It is a resource that they can in their everyday lives for entertainment or "How to" videos.

I think it would be fun to use Youtube with my high school students.  They could do how to videos for Foods, Child Development, Housing, or Clothing.  I could see this being a great project for them to take on!

I too like to use You Tube for the tutorials.  There is a lot of information that can be used of how to.  I use this personally when I can't figure something out.  These are great attention getters for students and makes learning fun.  If they are interested they will learn and retain
