DC Digital Literacy

Tony Theilen
For this assignment I explored Padlet, Kodable, and Puppet Pals. Each of these resources have many possibilities for use with students. Padlet could be used as a "parking lot" for students to share their thoughts and findings about topics we are discussing in class. It could later be used to show their learning journey and how their understanding of the subject changed over time. Kodable is great to get the kids thinking about the basics of coding and I would use for sure when participating in the "Hour of Code". Puppet Pals is a great resource to help kids publish a script they have already written, spark ideas for future plots, or as many of my current students use it, simply a way to express their creativity when developing a story.
