I went onto my Facebook account and did check my security settings (something I hadn't done for quite some time). I changed some of the settings to only share only with my friends and some to private to only those I want to share with. I didn't realize there were so many ways to hide the information that is able to be viewed by others.
I do not accept or request friend requests from current students, parents or people from the community. I just think that as a teacher much of my personal life is off-limits to those I associate with on a daily basis during the school year.
