I chose to look at my privacy settings for Facebook.
I checked my settings to see who can see my stuff on my profile. I made sure they were all set to just friends and that search engines outside facebook could not search for me. If students are going to search for me on Facebook, I do not want them to have access to my entire profile.
That is a good idea. We have had a few "concerns" with teachers being inappropriate with students online. That kind of thing can really mess up your future.
