I searched the social networking site, Instagram. I noticed that you can set the settings so that followers can ask your permission to follow you. Some people did not have this privacy/security setting on their profile, so people should be aware that anyone can search or follow anyone's account, if this is not set. Other participants searched popular sites, like Facebook. Almost everyone on the planet uses Facebook, including my students. There are several privacy settings for his site as well. I've noticed that the privacy settings have changed several times, throughout the years, so it's important to be aware of all privacy settings and check them periodically.
