DC Internet Safety

D Kunze
Since I have pretty good knowledge of the sites suggested, I chose an unlikely one - Ancestry.com.
It is a popular adult site, and is used for research by some high school students. The trouble with it is that it really relies on the discretion of each user to not share sensitive information. Though there are some screening features for living members in a family tree, those can be easily circumvented intentionally or unintentionally. It could provide, names, addresses, phone numbers, and birth dates. Like any public site students and adults need to be guarded as to what they make public.
