Share a time when you or someone you know was the recipient of an inappropriate use of digital media or when you might have used digital media in an inappropriate manner. How did this make you or others feel? What might have been done differently?
There have been many times where I have seen digital media used in an inappropriate manner. A time I recall recently involved someone I know. An ex partner posted screenshots of their text conversations, as well as personal pictures she had sent him online. This made me feel very uncomfortable as someone on the outside seeing these personal things. I am sure it made the person I know feel very uncomfortable, angry, and upset as well. This would be a prime example of using digital media to harm others. I believe private conversations and personal information should be kept just that- private!
