It is important that we are teaching students the consequences for their actions in the Digital World. They are far too connected today, and hide behind the technology. We need to be teaching them Respect and Manners not only online but also off line. If they wouldn't say something to another person's face it shouldn't be posted online. It is important for everyone to understand the long lasting effects of things that are posted online. We need to be consistent with our monitoring and reteaching of the fundamentals. When one of the norms is broken it needs to be retaught or dealt with, until the students understand the importance.
