DC-Norms and Responsibilities

pamela carlson
I have explained to my children how when I needed to find something out for school that we had a set of encyclopedias we used almost daily.  They can not imagine how this worked and how I ever got anything done!  There is a part of me that would have really enjoyed being able to look up anything that crossed my mind when in high school as I am able to do now.  It is an amazing time to be living, even with the dark side of the digital world always looming just outside the realm.  I believe that some of the same rights we have a citizens can roll over into the dc norms/rules.  I do think that if you wish to express your opinion digitally it should be allowed as it is verbally.  I don't believe that you should be able to interfere with another persons life-personal or professional and should be held accountable for slander and actions that one takes that harms another.
