DC Share Resource

Karen Wise
Following are some websites that I might use with my students.
Under the learning tools for Collaboration, I would use CoSketch.com. This is a site where an idea, problem, or just a cool picture can be shared with a friend. I could have my students use this site from home or any location with Internet connection (homework) and they could work together to research an art idea or problem.
Under the learning tools for Creativity, I would use Animaker.inc.  This is a do it yourself video making app. It's like your own animation studio. Students could create a story or idea, and put it in cartoon form.
Under the learning tools for Critical Thinking, I would choose to use Kahoot.com.  This is a site used to create, play, and/or share with classmates and/or teacher. I would create a learning game that my students respond to in real time and is shared with all of their classmates immediately.

These sites would help students learn the necessary content while engaging them with competition and the technology with which they are so comfortable.

I believe that this is the website that you were looking at.

This site looks very interesting from a teaching standpoint.  It looks like I could incorporate this into a lesson plan fairly easily.  Students love to make movies at the high school level.  This website would fit that!

Thank you for showing me another resource that I can use.

I researched Powtoon which is an animation site and sounds very similar to Animaker.  Kids of all ages enjoy movies and animation.  Both sites could be excellent resources.
