Digital Citizenship for Teens and Adults

Adults, and especially teens, need to realize that whatever they post on the Internet never really goes away. We are living in an age of screen shots, and archives. Even though the person may have thought they deleted the information from the page or the post, it is still somewhere. Google is known for archiving every piece of information, as is Facebook. These entities claim they are doing this for research and towards the goal of making their product better. People need to keep this in mind. There have been instances of people losing their jobs and colleges retracting scholarships because of some inflammatory post that someone thought people would never see again if they deleted it.
