For me it is about being a responsible citizen online as we are supposed to be in the real world. Ideally, our online presence should just be an extension of who we really are and not a made up persona of ourselves, or who we want to be.
Be responsible means to do or say things that are within our prescribed laws or not to do things that are hurtful to not only ourselves, but to others as well.
