Digital Library

Colleen Skolrood
There are so many great resources available. I really like Prezi. Students are able to create and share presentations with others. I also like Kahoot. It is a fun way for students to answer questions about the material being taught and allows the teacher to know if they are understanding the material . I also explored Little Bird Tales and really liked it. I had never heard of this one before.

I have never heard of Kahoot before, but it sounds really fun. I could use it as a check for understanding or as a review. My kids love games so this would be great for them!

As a substitute teacher I am familiar with Prezi as I have seen students use this website when working on a presentation and to help their ideas come to life. it is a good idea for subs to familiarize themselves with the most popular web tools with in their district as it will enable us to assist and engage with the students.

I'm not that familiar with Kahoot but I am interested in ways to review with students.  This sounds like a good prospect.

I also like prezi for presentation purposes.  It's much better than a powerpoint.
