Digital Literacy Resources

Joellyn Berg
I have dabbled in many of the resources that were shared and there were some that I had not heard of that I am thinking may be nice to try with my students.  I use twitter in my classroom to share and get ideas with others.  I also have used Animoto with my students as a way for them to present research.  I find this is an easy tool for even my first graders to navigate and they enjoy using it.  I use Padlet for my students to add to a "wonder" question to the board.  I find this easy for my students so we do not lose post-it notes.  I create a QR code with the link so they students can just scan this and it takes them directly to our "wonder" padlet.  Kahoot It is a great tool for students to all interact with questions.  We have used this as a review for math. The kids have fun with this and ask to use it.  I have not tried diigo and would like to explore that more for a bookmarking tool.  I would also like to try cacoo.com as a tool to use diagrams with my students.
