Digital Literacy:Share Resource (Create a Graph)

The web resource I researched was "Create a Graph - Data Analysis".  This site allows students to create line, bar, and pie graphs.  Students use data, color, and headings to individualize the graphs.  The site contains a great tutorial for the creation of the graphs.  I have students take surveys and record their results; this site will allow students to include a visual.  While exploring the site I also discovered it contained quizzes over a variety of subjects and grade levels, a chance game, and math teasers.  I enjoyed creating sample graphs and taking some of the quizzes.  I will use some of the material as bell ringers or end of class sponge activities.

This is a neat resource. My students could use this for effective visuals during our debate unit; many look for ways to visually present the data they have found in order to more powerfully persuade the audience. I wonder if the site includes the option to cite information, or if I would need to make separate instructions explaining this necessary step.

I like how simple it seems to be to use.  I am always looking for accessible ways for kids to create good graphs and this seems to be one more option.
