Digital Literacy: Share Resource

Lynda Farnham
Communication: I can use Animoto with elementary students to create digital book talks about their favorite book they’ve read in the last 2 months.

Collaboration: Google hangouts would be a good way for me to connect with students who are not currently in my classroom but have a question about the homework that I’ve assigned thus providing instant feedback.

Creativity: Tinkercad is a creation tool that I can use with TAG students. They can take a model of the White House or the statue of liberty that they have built from a Lego Model and recreate it using Tinkercad and then print it on the digital printer.

Critical Thinking: I can use Kahoot to create practice questions for preparing for the state Battle of the books competition.

Organizational Tools and Graphic Organizers: Symbaloo would be a good organization tool to add to my school’s website through my web page to guide students to sites that are appropriate for their grade level and what they are currently learning.
