Digital Literacy: Share Resource

Dee Hellmich
Communications tools - Audacity might work with getting the sound effect together for some of the green screen movies that I have been doing with my elementary students. I can see my 4th graders finding sounds to put in the background for a project. I’m just not sure of what we will be doing yet.
Collaboration tools - Skype video could be used to Skype with an author.
Critical thinking tools - Bubbl.us could be used at the start of our 2nd grade unit of comparing 2 nonfiction books. We could get down what they know and then what they learn from each book or confirm their knowledge.
Organization tools - Google Drive to share movies that the classes have made with their teachers.

Bubbl.us would be great for outlining what students have learned from their reading.  I would also use it for planning their writing assignments in order to help them get their information organized.
