Digital Literacy: Share Resources

Maurice A. Dyer
Taking this course has introduced me to numerous resources available to teachers, to students, and to individuals.  While I am not in a classroom as a teacher I see the possibilities that exist with a web resource such as Tagxedo.  Utilizing the program one could create a word cloud demonstrating the differences between two political candidates in a political debate.  Showing the relative importance of words could clearly show the differences between candidates.  In Iowa, with our first in the nation status, a resource like Tagxedo could potentially direct a student's attention to the political process of democracy in a refreshingly new manner.
