Digital Resource - Learning Tools

Sara Lambert
Below are some of the tools that I will be trying to use and understand more of very soon.

Learning Tools - Communication: The Remind site I have used for my own kids in other classes.  I really like this tool as it is a quick way to get messages and reminders out to a group of people.  I really like this better than just an email since it comes right to my phone as a text.
Learning Tools - Collaboration:  I have used Google Drive and Drop box before and both are great for working on projects with others. The Google Drive is already used quite a bit in the classroom and the kids already understand it so they are already comfortable with it which is nice.
Learning Tools - Creativity: I think Photo Peach looks really interesting and I can really see kids liking this.  I am going to look into this site a little more and see how I can use it.
Learning Tools - Critical Thinking:  Another site that I am not familiar with right now is Scratch. I think this site would be fun and educational.  I will be exploring this site more as well.
Learning Tools - Organization: I good site for this is Diingo and has been mentioned quite a bit in this class.  I think this gives more options than simply Bookmarking or Saving to Favorites. I will be using this.

I am interested in using Remind, as well.  I am hoping that it reaches those parents that do not have internet/email access but do have phones with text messaging.  Amy Ramker
