Digital Resources - Ellen Carey

Ellen Carey
These were the cites that I visited:
Learning tools: Communication
Remind 101
Learning tools: Collaboration
CoSketch. Com
Learning tools: Creativity
Animoto
Learning tools: Critical Thinking
Kahoot.it
Learning tools: Organization
Mindmeister graphic organizer

I would love to use Kahoot.it in my classroom.  I think it would be great for review.  Since all of my students have their own computers, I think it would work great.  I love how you can have as many questions as possible.  You can add pictures and graphs.  It looks like you can have up to 4 answer choices for the students, but you could also make the questions true or false.  I like how you can customize it to fit your own needs.

I just tried my first Kahoot in my music classes, to review a unit on Japanese music.  It was great, and the kids were very excited when I told them we'd be doing one.  I liked how easy it was to use, and also that you can make it so customized to your needs, even adding pictures, etc.  Great tool!

I was just talking to another foreign language teacher this evening about using Kahoot for review games- she said it's a lot of fun and students really enjoy it. It looks fairly simple to use, as well.

The social studies teacher across from my room uses Kahoot a lot for review on the smartboard; making sort of a game review. I think she enjoys using it as much as they do
