I think the biggest challenges we run into with understanding and communicating digital rights and responsibilities is the growth of social media. Students have grown accustom to the "responsibilities" found with Facebook or other social networks. The expectations found within that network are vastly different than those expectations and rules of an online learning community. Students have a hard time separating the two.
