Facebook Settings

Abby BIllings
Under Settings, you can choose "Security and Login" from the left-hand side task bar.  From there you should see different sections of options for you to choose how to secure your account.  I like that you can choose 3-5 Facebook contacts to help you get logged in to your account should you be locked out.  I also like that there is a two-factor authentication option where you can use an authentication app (Google Authenticator or Duo Mobile) to scan a QR code to validate it is you logging in versus someone who hacked into your account.

I also like that you can control who can see what and add to your posts.  For example, I was able to make it that only friends of friends can search for me.  I have other settings set so that only the people I am friends with can see most of my information and usually only allow myself to make edits to posts and other things.

I also chose to make sure that I verify I am okay with posts and tags of me from other people before it can be posted online. - I really appreciate this because with my original Facebook account I had to manually go in and un-tag myself from different photos and posts of my friends.
