I am a member of the local swap groups to find cheaper clothes for my kids. I also suggest the Iowa Council Teachers of English. I follow our school district as well so we can keep up on any news with the schools.
I had never considered following my school district's page because my step-children attend another district. Thanks for mentioning that! I am going to follow mine so I don't miss any information put forward by the district.
