Facebook suggestions

I find it very useful to follow my own school, as well as local school districts. It helps to keep in touch with what activities the schools are offering and could give ideas for activities that my school could add in the future.

I also like to follow local businesses. They will post specials for educators or even sponsor events that my students can participate in.

Local news and weather channels are also good to follow!

I recently discovered that the other high schools in my local district have Twitter accounts, linked to Facebook, to communicate activities, deadlines and opportunities for high school students. I am following all three other high schools now to stay more informed of activities and ideas.
