Financial Literacy is something that could easily be a full semester course. I would break the class up into the major areas dealing with Financial Lit: Earning, Saving, Credit, Long Term Planning, Receiving, Estate Planning, etc... I think it is important for students to learn all aspects, not just 1 or 2. I would attempt to have many activities and projects throughout the course to show the students how the material is relevant to their lives even as young adults. I would also line up prominent people in out community to come in as guest speakers during the appropriate unit.
