Financial Literacy in MS

martin ruthaivilavan
World's economy is changing so fast that paper currency is becoming more and more recreational than an actual action. I teach internationally and basic financial understanding is taught in the middle school, but as mention above, the paper transaction is becoming more and more obsolete, we have to reimage how to teach deeper financial understanding in today's society when digital is the new way to spend and save.

This would entail how online banking works, how applications can help our students track their spending, and see how their own behaviors have an impact on their spending habits. We need to think how students can build their own financial data systems that will give them knowledge of how they use their money now and in the future. This is something that I will suggest to my colleague next year as we look at finance as a transdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning.
