I currently teach a world geography class to 7th graders. I could see doing a more in depth unit on world trade and economies for my students. I tell students to think about jobs and money when they think about the word economy. A simulation could help students understand better why we say a country is poor and why a country is wealthy. Students would benefit from a role play simulation about the different countries economies. Students could then see why some countries are in better situations than others.
