Financial Literacy in the elementary classroom by Peggy Wellman-Thielen

Teaching financial literacy is important for all grades. Starting in pre-school, children should be learning about money and its value. Skills can build as the students progress through elementary school, expanding to include needs vs. wants, banking, importance of saving, and keeping a budget. I currently teach in all elementary classrooms, PreK through 5th grade.
