Financial Literacy

I am a co-teacher in our Home School Assistance Program(K-12). I would share with parents that they need to understand that children learn through observation and play. Interactive games are a great way to start teaching kids how to manage money, and you can start choosing those appropriate for your child's age and skills.
Since there is very little cash being exchanged these days, the concept of dollars for goods can be a little complicated. Plastic cards need to be explained...starting with debit rather than credit.
