I teach 3rd grade and we use financial literacy in our Junior Achievement program. We have a checks and balance program that they learn. I would use the curriculum with a project based learning activity. That will encompass most all the content areas while using financial literacy. I like that idea because it allows the students to go at their own pace when learning about knew things. They could plan a trip and have to figure all the costs for that and figure out how to save money for the trip or maybe running a restaurant could be another PBL that they could do. I think doing these will help the students in the future with the finances.
