Teachers are seeing ways to make connections between subjects and watch as students find creative confidence and voice in their expression.It was very interesting that once Art was integrated into the school, students became more engaged, test scores increased, and negative behaviors decreased.
I can incorporate this into my classroom by providing students opportunities to complete assignments through an art project. By giving them this creative outlet, they can use their imagination and interests to show me what they have learned. This is a great Multi-Sensory option.
