I honestly struggle coming up with ideas on how to use VTS in my classroom and incorporating it with my curriculum. The couple times that I have incorporated it is when I am teaching math. I am a huge fan of incorporating math with art, it makes it so much more engaging for the students and they are more likely to enjoy what they are learning. One activity I specifically remember was during a fractions lessons, I had my students practice cutting and gluing different shapes together to form new shapes.

This website is a great resource for VTS. It provides a definition of what it is and how to do VTS in the classroom. I really enjoyed that section of the website because it was a good step-by-step set of directions on what to say to students and how to start incorporating VTS in lesson. This website also has a small section over tips for using VTS in the classroom.

I understand not always knowing how to apply VTS in every subject you teach.  I do like your website and how you can use it in your own lesson plans.

I also struggle with coming up with ways to incorporate it in the classroom. I teach kindergarten so some things that sound good aren't the best for my aged kiddos. Thanks for sharing the website!

I am not a very artistic person. I really struggle with incorporating art into the classroom. It is great to see I am not alone in this! I do feel that as we see more examples as this class progresses I am seeing more ideas that I could use in the classroom. I also agree that art can be much easier to use with math, but I have more recently been trying to find ways to use it in reading and writing!
