GMail has a lot of features that help me keep things organized. I have a folder that includes all of the passwords and usernames for the many websites my school district and AEA provide us with. I also keep a folder of Mystery Doug science mini-lessons. Filing the Mystery Doug links allows me to go back and access the mini-lessons so that I can connect different class' interest to lessons they are interested in. I am very grateful for the search bar that is provided in GMail, so that I can type in key words and the email is easy to locate. This helps me keep my inbox streamlined rather than holding onto emails so long that they lose relevance. When collaborating with my grade-level team, we often share documents. There is a share option that automatically sends an email to let the rest of the team know when something is created and/or shared. The same is true of calendar events. It is very helpful to get the confirmation emails to events so that I get myself (and others) where we need to be.
