As a substitute teacher, I would find it a very useful tool for preparing and communicating with full-time teachers, administration, and students in their expectations and assignments for the day. I have arrived to sub for classes before with no lesson plans available, makes for a long day. I think the "canned email" feature would be very helpful for sending assignments and reminders - especially for multiple sections of the same class. Sorting students/parents into particular groups in contacts by class or section would be a real time saver.
