Hello my name is Kathy Neary and i am a middle school teacher. I have been teaching for 37 years and enjoy using technology.
Google Calendar
My principal and staff uses Gmail to set up meetings on the calendar which is very handy. It is synced to my smart phone and I promptly get the event on my phone calendar.
We use Google Calendar for reserving conference rooms, computer labs, and technology equipment.
My Google Calendar is synced to all my devices and are able to color code what is work, family, and social life.
Gmail
Gmail is used to communicate among staff and faculty members.
When students email me their assignments it will be easy to organize them using labels and filters.
I make a google group using all my parents emails for easy access for a general homeroom email.
