Gmail and Adult Basic Education Classes

I teach Adult Basic Education (ABE) at a local Community College. I can see some advantages to using Gmail with higher level learners in our English Language Learners classes. Those would include: organizing emails written in both English and their Native Languages; labeling emails from their teachers and fellow students and family members; and creating tasks from emails from teachers concerning assignments and calendar reminders.
