I appreciate the comments from other teachers and what worked during 'Virtual learning' for the past couple of months during lockdown times. I will use the label features in contacts to create groups and save time on copy/paste from a document, this will include class student groups, study groups, teacher teams, and parent groups. I will also utilize the translate features heavily for parent communication. Switching the hangouts chat over to the right-hand-side was a nice tip from the video. This will assist with responding to chat questions during virtual classes, as I find students are much more into chat than emails. I have set up filters to automatically label and sort through administrator emails so I do not miss them and other general newsletters so they do not clog up my important email mailbox. My signature is up-to-date and looking professional.
