Gmail in a library support role

I am a fairly solid user of Gmail, but definitely only operated on the surface with some features.  I am actually hoping to use canned responses for a few repetitious items I use as a Library Support person.  I love the use of Hangouts in school, as well, and use it along with several teachers on my floor particularly when we need something urgently.  (Read: coverage to use the bathroom!)  Lastly, we were fortunate enough to be blessed with a tech bar with 13 workstations for students to use in the library.  I like being well-versed in the Gmail functionality to help guide the students who are just finding their way with it as 6th graders or the ones stepping up their game as 8th graders.  So very many options!
