I teach middle school band and I run into situations where students forget to come to their band lessons. Each student in our district is given a school gmail account, so my idea is to create a contact group for each day of the week and send out a daily reminder to the corresponding contact group with a schedule of the day's lessons. Also, using their Gmail accounts to send out reminders about concerts, rehearsals, or other important information.
