I'm taking this course to have Sub Certification. The Super Sub 101 course mentioned leaving the regular teacher a note about how the class went and any issues with students. It seems that using Gmail would be faster and more efficient, especially if the teacher was out for a couple days. The teacher could then reply with suggestions or lesson plan changes as needed.
