Gmail in the Classroom

emaddox
At my old school, I primarily used Gmail to communicate with staff since our students did not have their own devices.  However, the students at my new school are now one-to-one and check their email more regularly.  At the start of the school year, the students used Gmail to ask questions about their grades and homework.  During distance learning, I used Gmail to communicate with students much more regularly. I have now added labels to store parent contacts, student contacts, emails to keep, and curriculum-related emails.  I also added a signature line with my name, classroom phone number, and classroom website.  Lastly, I created some contact groups to make sending emails more efficient.
