Gmail in the Classroom

Brian Bohlen
I teach in a district that uses Outlook and Gmail so I have 2 email addresses.  I like some of the features of Outlook better than Gmail but their are aspects of Gmail that I like better than Outlook and it works so well when you use it with Google Calendars.  We have also been use Google Drive this year to share information.

I'm taking the class because I can navigate Gmail, Calendar, and Drive I really know nothing more than how to do the basics.  I feel their is so much more I could be doing with these programs in my classroom but I have no idea where to start.  I have already learned a few things in this class and I hoping to learn more.

Brian,

I am in the same boat.  I have had a gmail account for several years but it serves as a secondary account so I use it only occasional.  I am trying to expand my knowledge of this app and get so I can navigate it as well as I use my Outlook application.
