Gmail in the Classroom

Adam Giaffoglione
I use Gmail in multiple ways.  One of the best tools is setting up groups for classrooms.  This enables me to email entire classes at once.  For example, if I forgot to tell one class something, I can email just them and not all my students.  I also set up filters which allows me to see that I have new emails coming from students within different classes.  I'm also a huge fan of the "chat" feature which allows me to send quick messages to colleagues without having to go through the steps of composing and sending an email.  Lastly, it is obviously a great way to communicate with students outside of class/school hours.

Re: Gmail in the Classroom

BK Barry
Hello from a fellow student.  I am also working on this 101 Gmail class.  I need to find anyone that would allow to be on my contact list for this class.

This request is for your permission to let me use your email/contact info for purposes of this class only.  I thought I would ask fellow students in this education field.  Personal contacts are not interested.  After I finish this class I will delete everything.

If you would, send me your info to  coloandia@gmail.com.

Thank you
