Gmail in the Classroom

I plan on using Gmail in the classroom to send specific links to students in specific subjects.  For example, if we were talking about Martin Luther King Jr. in social studies, I would be able to email all the students in my social studies classes some specific links (video or information about him) that I would like them to look at.  I could also add to this by giving them a specific assignment that would go with the link that I would like them to complete.  There are many ways to use gmail in the classroom and I am anxious to try them out!
